I’m writing to let you know that I felt last night’s experience helping out on the van was a real wake up call for me. It’s been awhile since I was directly involved in any great depth with homelessness projects. So going out on the van was an opportunity for reflection and and insight. I thought you did a wonderful job listening and caring for all the people we encountered throughout the evening. I’m in the process of reflecting on those experiences and my own engagement and lack of engagement at times. So I’ll think about it for awhile and consider when I ready to venture out again for an evening of challenge and enlightenment:)

This morning I dropped off a bag of clothing, some gardening books and some garlic at the Ve’ahavata office. I hope you can make use of those items.
