Responsibilities:
Starry Nights (Major Gala) Administrative Support
- Act as Ve’ahavta liaison
- Manage all marketing materials
- General Administrative support for Committee
- Collaborating with the Event Management Company
- Manage Critical Path
GTO Challenge
- Provide administrative support for the Volunteer Committee executing the event
- Recruit Teams and Volunteers
- Attend monthly meeting
Kinder Kits
- Act as Ve’ahavta Liaison
- Manage and provide support for Kinder Kit Committee
- Produce and develop marketing pieces as required
3rd Party Events
- Indentify and solicit new 3rd party event prospects through community groups, shuls, families, and companies
- Act as consultant to third party committees
Direct Mail Campaign
- Coordinate 3 annual direct mail pieces
Stewardship
- Create and execute a stewardship strategy for the following donor groups
- Major Donors ($1000 +)
- 3rd Party Event Organizers
- Project Donors
- Major Event Organizers
- Drafting thank you letters
Direct Marketing for Fundraising
- Design and update direct marketing communications printed materials including;
- Tribute cards
- Cases for Support
- Sponsorship packages
- Presentations
- Program/Project brochures and flyers
- Event posters
- Artez
- Manage monthly e-blast campaign, which includes newsletter design, and list maintenance and growth
- Responsible for the collection and production of imagery and media
Other Fundraising Projects
- Management of and promotion of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Program
- Oversee the management and growth of the Tribute Card campaign
- Additional tasks as requested by the Director of Development
All fundraising programs will be driven through a critical path provided by the Director of Development.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years demonstrated experience in fundraising or related field
- Event and Project Management experience
- Volunteer Management Experience
- Marketing and graphic design experience an asset
- Experience with Fundraising software
- Resourceful and independent, yet comfortable working within the framework of an integrated development program and team-oriented environment
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Solid communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- A self-starter, with strong motivation to take initiatives and to adjust to changing priorities and meet deadlines
- Understanding and commitment to the values and mission of Ve’ahavta
