• $5000 will provide food & coffee for one year to 10,000 homeless individuals
  • $3500 will send one individual to a full term of the Ve’ahavta Street Academy
  • $1000 will provide dinner for 150 homeless guests at the Ve’ahavta Passover Seder
  • $500 will provide notebooks to 350 children for one year
  • $250 will sponsor one prize to a winner of the Creative Writing Contest for the homeless
  • $100 will provide coffee for one week to 250 homeless individuals
  • $18 will give one child school supplies for one year

Kulam Project

hodes2Ve’ahavta, in partnership with Kulam and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), are proud to be working together to support projects in Ethiopia and Rwanda.

Our first round of projects include the building of a school in Gondar, Ethiopia and the purchase of much needed life saving medications for Dr. Rick Hodes’ to treat his patients.

Benjamin Sternthal and Julie Schneiderman, founders of Kulam, will be traveling to Ethiopia in December to help build the school. They will be taking with them 60 Kinder Kits that Ve’ahavta is providing for the children of this community.
