Creative Writing Contest

Every year Ve’ahavta has a Creative Writing Contest for the Homeless and Marginalized. This year is the 10th Anniversary of the Contest.

Are you outgoing and enthusiastic? Are you comfortable speaking in front of people? Do you have an interest in the Homeless and Marginalized Population?

We are looking for 7-10 Volunteers to facilitate Writing Workshops in the Community for the Creative Writing Contest. Each volunteer would be responsible for 2-3 workshops in the community.

Each workshop will be one hour and held in a local shelter or drop in center. The workshop material will be presented to you in a training session hosted by The Creative Writing Contest Coordinator. For more information, please contact our volunteer desk at volunteerinfo@veahavta.org.
